This solid walnut or maple book placeholder seamlessly blends beauty with practicality. The triangle point is used to hold your place in the book, and the base has a groove routed out to hold a pen or pencil, your glasses, tube of ChapStick, or anything else you want to keep close by.The side can have an optional engraving of a minimalist line drawing of an open book.
 
The whole piece is 11" long, 8" wide, and 7.5" tall. It comes with 4 felt pads on the bottom to protect your furniture. If you'd like a personalized engraving please leave a note in your order or message me before ordering.
 
Each piece of wood is different with different grain patterns and color variations. Walnut can range from a beige color to almost black. Maple can range from almost white to a golden color. I try to take pictures that portray the in-person colors as best as possible, but your handmade piece may look slightly different than the example photos.
